Biocube Lighting HELP!!!

Hello Guys,

This tank just doesn't give me a break. Well everything seems to be doing okay, but my actinic light isn't consistent. It goes on and off like every other day.

I replaced the ballast, bulb, socket, and have checked the wiring for the light and it is all fine... people suspect that it is the switch.

What else could possibly be wrong with it? What should I do.

FYI- I bought this off dombowski so I DO NOT have the receipt to tell Oceanic to send me a new hood.

If you are sure there is no shorting anywhere, then is it overheating?

How many watt is the actinic and how watt is the daylight? I may have a replacement solution for you.

How do I know if it's shorting? Also, both fans are in so it's definitely not overheating. Both lights work in tandem every other day.

Both bulbs are the 24 watts.

Congradulation! You just got a very powerful limited edition of Bio Cube with automatic lighting control on it's own.

I use my water alarm to sense the moisture/salt creep related short.

Ted I never had this problem. I even posted a pic with the actinic on. I'm with Wingo, something got wet :scratch:
