How much gph does a Perfecto RR 90 flow ??

Are perfecto 90gal rr tanks any good and what do they flow??I have tried to do a search and google it ...Someone said they flow 700gph ..So I figure the eheim 1262 would be good to go ....Thanks

Depends on what you want to keep, aquascaping, positioning etc. etc.

did you mean how much GPH can the overflow handle? if it has one i would say 600 to 700GPH

Remember that you lose gph for every foot the water needs to be pumped up into the tank. I am using a mag 7 as my return, the tank is about 5 feet above my sump and my overflow is rated at 700 gph.

FWIW i have never gotten an overflow to handle 600 gph, figure around 300-400 to be safe.

Plus you really dont want to be right near the top end of the scale on this, as the pipes can easily get clogged up with gunk/snails,etc and you want a bit of a cushion as far as your drain capacity is concerned.

Finally, unless you have designed your sumps better than I have, if you blow too much water through the sump it can get pretty loud.
