I am looking to buy a digital camera as a gift. No need to be all fancy but to take decent pictures and at least 5mp. It also needs to be small in size and a big LCD screen at least 3 inches. I need it to be small cause this person goes out a lot and likes to carry it in their pocket and for it not to be bulky. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks. :hug:

I have the Canon PowerShot SD1000, digital ELPH and couldn't be happier with it. It's a 7.1 megapixel point and shoot and retails for under $200. Not really sure exactly how big the lcd screen is though.

Ive had a fuji-Didnt like it at all-shutter speed was to slow.
I think the elph is the best camera for the money and size! hands down.
people who buy the elph continue to rebuy it when time to buy a new camera comes up. My brother for example, has had about 3 or 4 of them over the last 8-10 years.
