Is anything needed to cycle dead rock

Ok so after doing some research tonight im opting to do dead rock. I want to cycle it im just wondering if i will be needing any special chemicals, food, additives, etc. for helping to cycle the dead rock?

Water movement a few pieces of live rock and patience.

Power head for circulation. Heater - gotta keep the water warm as well. Add a pinch of any pellet/flake food dropped in once or twice a week to feed the bacteria you want growing.
