running a current usa nova 2 x 20w lighting, although I am looking to supplement with some actinics to add some pop.



msunken23 you hit it. pistol/goby pair. they are expanding to a second tunnel as we speak


thanks guys
switched out an old HOB filter to a submersible current usa top-skimming filter. fairly pleased with it so far because the flow direction is adjustable, but it does not kick out much flow.

I actually mixed the sand myself. I took whatever the everyday aquarium sand is and mixed in a ratio of 20 lbs or so black to about 3 lbs of white and 3 lbs of red.
