My New Squamosa Clam

Here is a pic of my latest addition to my reef. I purchased it from Pets of New Hyde Park; they had it there for over a month! It looked nothing like this under their lights; colors come out more under my 250W MH. It's in that bin with live rock due to the fact that I have a bare bottom tank; hopefully it will attach to the rock it's sitting on. Thinking of whether I should add live sand to the tank:scratchch.

Very nice find. By the way you don;t need it on sand for it to be happy. find a nice perch for it on the LR.
