Need to get new salt mix...

So im almost out of Instant Ocean. I have no issue with what I have been using but im considering Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. Should i switch to Reef Crystals? what are the pros and cons of using this over the standard salt mix? Also if you recomend something else entirely, i want to hear it.​

First off, why are you considering another salt mix if you're having no issues? Also, why is Reef Crystals your first choice?

I have no reason, per say, to change. Just wanted to see if anybody was using reef crystals and recomended them over standard intant ocean.

I'm currently using Reef Crystals, but only because I bought 2 buckets for $20 each here on MR Personally, I wouldn't pay the premium for them over Instant Ocean.

glad you are satisfied, but I don't see how that answered your question.

if you are really curious about the different salt mixes, there is a pdf at www.aquariumwatertesting.com that gives a very detailed breakdown of the different mixes and what is (or isn't) in them.
