Transporting Live Rock

How do I do it?
Going to transport it about 30min, do I need to keep it in water or can i leave it dry?

if you can keep it submerged in tank water then that is perfect...if not then soak newspaper or towels to keep them moist

if you transport it with just newspapers you will probably get some die off if its comin out of a running setup. if thats the case you might have to recure it. if you are just buying it at the store as cured rock you should b alright, because there wont b much to die off. good luck.

Ive Transported My Rock As Far As An Hour Drive And Ive Never Had An Ammonia Spike When I Keep The Rock Moist.in Fact I Had Rock With Shrooms And Polyps Under Wet Paper And They Survived The Ride

its coming from a live set-up.

I just put mine in a bucket and put a old towel over it and used some water that the rock was sitting in to soak the towel and add some moisture to the bucket.. it transported 40 minutes just fine

You should be fine if you keep a wet towel on them. I transported mine just over 10 hours and had very little die off, I was lucky. Good luck
