Are you down?  Feeling blue?  Want a change from the weather?  The only cure for that is a sailing trip around the South Pacific.  Seriously, don’t write it off as impossible.  Right now, the conservation organization OceansWatch is looking for volunteers to sail a yacht through the South Pacific to the Solomon Islands, offering training and wildlife management assistance to the locals.  A quick stop in Vanuatu will offer all the training you’ll need, and you’ll be responsible for helping the islanders set up and manage wildlife conservation areas as well as responsible farming and restoration activities.  The trip is scheduled to last 6 months and will be leaving during 2012.  For more information, check the link HERE.
