The Marine Aquarium Society of Michigan and Marine Breeding Initiative are once again holding the Marine Breeding Initiative Workshop 2012 at the Cranbrook Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The event will take place on Saturday, July 28 from 9 AM to 5 PM and will include four speakers and a provided lunch.
Until midnight tonight the individual ticket price for the event will be $32. After that the price will increase to $40 so get your tickets now!
The event planners have done a great job of lining up some top-notch speakers for the event:
- Eric Cassiano (Tropical Aquaculture Laboratory) – Success and complications in species-specific embryological and larval rearing, and future projects
- Todd Gardner (Biologist, Long Island Aquarium)
- Richard Ross (Aquatic Biologist, Steinhart Aquarium) – Cephalopods
- Dan Underwood (Commercial Aquaculturist and Owner, Seahorse Source) – Seahorse Breeding
I personally attended the event last year at the Cranbrook and had a wonderful time and learned a lot!
