Giesemann's new Powerchrome T5 bulbs

Five new marine/reef and two freshwater/planted T5 bulbs from Giesemann.

From Giesemann:

The GIESEMANN POWERCHROME series has long been regarded as one of the highest quality yet affordable T5 lamps available to hobbyist and professional, and has been at the forefront of T5 lamp technology since their introduction in 2002.

Denoted by their new distinctive black packaging, for 2014 we have revised and improved all versions within the range to continue this tradition of excellence. With the new POWERCHROME T-5 series we offer the very latest HO (high output) fluorescent technology, using new advances in Tri and Penta-phosphor blending to Giesemann’s own specifications. These new technologies are characterized by exceptionally high output performance, longer life span, better coloration and greater spectral stability over time and have been specifically developed for use with all dimmable units.

The POWERCHROME range is available in 7 stunning colors, including a select series for Reef Aquariums, providing much higher PAR than previous versions to enhance the color and growth of corals whilst producing an excellent light rendition for optimum aesthetics, Whilst the two special blends for tropical aquariums are particularly suitable for the illumination of fresh-water planted aquariums to achieve lush, vibrant and healthy plant growth.

We also recommend the new POWERCHROME T5-tubes for those aquariums that have a greater water depth, or those requiring supplemental fill-in lighting in situations where more focused main light sources can result in shading.

Optimum results are achieved within reef aquariums whilst using the POWERCHROME T5-tubes in combination with MEGACHROME metal halide bulbs. These latest generation T-5 lamps are available in all 4 common sizes from 24, to 39, 54 and 80 watts.

GIESEMANN POWERCHROME T-5 lamps are manufactured and packaged exclusively in Germany for Giesemann Aquaristik.
