During last few videos with Chris Meckley, he’s mentioned a marine biologist friend and a company that allowed him to fine tune his system by raising the pH with using various hydroxides which made an ideal situation in his coral vats to improve the overall growth and health of his corals as well as many other helpful things that allowed him to run his systems more efficiently.
