The Fine Striped Snapping Shrimp is not as common as the Tiger Pistol Shrimp or the Candy Pistol Shrimp in the aquarium trade. Like its relatives, it forms a symbiotic relationship with specific species of gobies – Amblyeleotris wheeleri, A. guttata, A. randalli, A. ogasawarensis, A. steinitzi, A. aurora, Cryptocentrus cinctus, Ctenogobiops tangaroai, and similar species.
