The Bubbletip Anemone is a very popular saltwater aquarium anemone. It is a fairly easy reef invertebrate to keep for beginners and is rewarding in that it can grow quite large and reproduces by splitting into multiple anemones. It will sometimes server as a host to clownfish, but that is typically determined by the clownfish. It benefits from pellet (LPS type) feeding. If you are feeding the fish near the anemone it will capture food by itself.
Bubbletip Anemones come in multiple colors including red, green, and a rainbow that is dependent on the aquarium lighting. Pictured is the “Rose” variation.
