It is with the heaviest of hearts that we say goodbye to one of our hobby’s leaders, Jake Adams. The managing editor of reefbuilders.com since 2008, and a well-known, popular speaker at conferences and club meetings, he was intelligent, articulate, and beloved throughout our industry. He has left behind a huge hole, and will be greatly, greatly missed. Our sincere condolences to his wife and family, and to all the people around the globe mourning him today.  A Gofundme project has been set up to honor Jake’s memory.

  • As senior editor here at reefs, I get to work with scientists from all over the world, and have made some wonderful friends in the industry! I also write for the site, and am the office manager at FRESH New London and the mother of two brilliant, talented young women.
