A few months ago, I shared news about Biota Aquarium’s release of the Sprung Elegance Coral. At the time, Julian was in the U.K. attending a conference, so I wasn’t able to include his perspective in that initial report. That never quite sat right with me. A few weeks ago, when I finally had the opportunity, I reached out to Julian directly to hear his side of the story. Conversations like these matter because we need to understand the intentions, challenges, and thought processes behind major developments to give us a clearer, more balanced picture. For me, taking the time to record these things not only builds trust but it also encourages transparency, and I strongly believe that it helps all of us grow together. I’m grateful for the chance to close that loop and share a more complete narrative. I invite you to check it out and let me know what you think! I think the future looks promising and it’s good to see if these corals from Palau will avoid the dreaded elegance coral disease since they are bypassing all of the collection spots. (One of the theories of the disease spreading) Thanks for watching guys and happy reefing!
