Patience is the Name of the Growing Game

#Patience….The word everyone talks about in reef keeping but no one wants to acknowledge. MSMH picked up this frag of Goofy Homewrecker over three years ago and we are so happy with its progress. Growth is relative and takes time. Sit back, enjoy the microcosm you have created, and let nature work.

Thank you to the Marine Science Magnet High School for these words and photos, and for the incredible work that they have been doing! Visit their website HERE to learn more.

  1. The emphasis on patience in reef keeping really resonates with me, especially when you’re waiting for those corals to truly establish and impress. It’s a stark contrast to the immediate gratification we often seek in other areas of life.

  2. This piece really hits home with the idea that patience is fundamental in reef keeping. I’ve seen so many people get discouraged because their tanks aren’t “instantly” beautiful, forgetting that true growth and stability take time. It’s a lesson that extends beyond just aquariums, honestly.
