Planet Earth II

It is my honor and my obligation to share this exciting news with everyone that loves the ocean and nature in general: BBC One just announced that it will soon air Planet Earth II, a six-episode series and a sequel to 2006’s original Planet Earth series.

Ten years ago, the Planet Earth documentary series redefined natural history filmmaking and inspired thousands of people to explore and preserve the amazing world we all share. The official trailer has just been released; it is a breathtaking ride through our planet’s diverse ecosystems and a jaw-dropping example of the current state of nature filmography.

Most of all, the 2016 return to the series is narrated by the great sir David Attenborough, the voice of the original series and one of the most acclaimed broadcasters of all time.
