This video is going to cover the use of hydrogen peroxide dips for corals. In short, it’s water with an extra oxygen. That extra oxygen makes it a highly reactive oxidizer, and when you add it to saltwater, it doesn’t stay hydrogen peroxide for very long. It’s unstable and tends to break down into something more stable.Hydrogen peroxide a legitimate tool when used intentionally. It can also mess up corals if you push it too far. So respect the dose, respect the time, and don’t use it as a routine ‘just because’ dip.
