Reef A Palooza Orlando 2018: Eye Candy

by | Apr 13, 2018 | Events, Science | 0 comments

For this Reef A Palooza, I did something out of the ordinary. Instead of shooting livestock on the second day, I went around and shot the livestock vendors FIRST and tried to cover all the livestock vendors in hopes of promoting them. (also to keep them from giving me the excuse that all the good pieces were already gone. 😉  ) Check out all the crazy corals and fish that were shown here at Reef A Palooza Orlando. What really caught my attention was the motherload of Anampses lennardi wrasses, the amazing corals, and my favorite part of the show, the Tiger Angelfish (Apolemichthys kingi) that made an appearance at ACI Aquaculture’s booth. To my knowledge and to Chris Meckley’s knowledge, this was first one in the state of Florida and first of its size in the US. It was extremely exciting as both Jake Adams and I witnessed the fish chomping away at Reef Nutrition’s TDO pellets.

Check it out!
