Reefs App 3.0 Released for iOS

by | Mar 13, 2012 | Technology | 4 comments

Today we are pleased to announce a major new release in our groundbreaking Reefs App.  In addition to all of the features we love from version 2.1, version 3 enhances the app in all new ways by offering the following:

  • Fish Store Finder (w/ GPS)
  • Reefs Magazine including all back issues
  • Reefs Blog (updated daily)
  • Reefs.me integration (monitor your tank with apex or RKE)
  • Coral Database
  • Fish Database
  • Realtime chat with your Reefs.com buddy list
  • Plus many new enhancements to the existing functionality

We don’t like to leave people behind on older versions so this upgrade is offered FREE to all current app owners!  Just check for updates in the App Store and you’ll download the new version.  If you do not already have the app, you can download it HERE.

  • Josh Saul is a technology consultant for large global banks. He has been involved in the aquarium hobby for 20 years and has been SCUBA diving for more than 30.

Does this list fish stores in other states as well?
Does it include the back issues of Reef Magazine so you can read them when not connected to the web (like in flight)?
Are you coming out with an iPad version?

    Looks interesting.
