Roca De Plata

Roca De Plata

The “trunk” of the tree is a 20cm (8 inch) diameter cork bark with driftwood projecting out from its base in order to create the effect of a root flare (AKA “nebari”) over rock.  The aquarium is only one month old (started Oct 18, 2014) so it has a lot of maturing to do.  As it stands right now, it already makes quite the impression.  We can’t wait to see this aquascape develop.

Follow the Roca De Plata build on Eddy’s (German) blog or Vimeo page.  Here is his first intoxicating 6-minute video of this living art in progress.
