Take a virtual trip to the most exotic locations with Ocean Shutter’s “Rolling in the Deep” series of high-def videos. The latest episode, #10 in the series, focuses on the diverse underwater world of Bali Indonesia, and it is absolutely gorgeous!
Dustin and Tyra Adamson created Ocean Shutter in 2013, with the goal of sharing both their worldwide adventures and the beauty of the underwater world with everyone. They have filmed in : Cozumel, Mexico, St Lucia, All the Cayman Islands, Roatan Honduras, Bonaire, Florida Keys, Crystal River Florida, Puerto Rico, Oahu and the Big Island of Hawaii, Fiji, Australia, Palau, Lembeh Strait Indonesia, Komodo Indonesia, Anilao Philippines, Dumaguete Philippines, the Red Sea in Egypt, Galapagos Islands, Revillagidedo Islands, Milne Bay Papua New Guinea, Truk Lagoon, Bali Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Tiger Beach Bahamas, and Bimini Bahamas.
Tyra’s work has been published in Alert Diver, ScubaDiver Australasia, as well as some local newspapers. Her lens of choice are the 100mm Macro, 8-15mm fisheye, 15mm fisheye, and the 17-40mm wide angle lens. She also employs the use of Ikelite Strobes, Sola Focus lights, and Macromate wet diopter.
Dustin’s Films have received some notable attention from worldwide organizations, including: Alert Diver Magazine, The Biowall, Scuba Diver Life, Huffington Post, Smithsonian Channel and the Underwater Photography Guide. In 2015, Dustin had the privilege of being invited to be a member of the prestigious Ocean Artist Society. He is currently shooting with a full frame Canon 1DX Mark II and a Nauticam housing. For lighting, he uses 2 Sola 8000’s and a Sola 2000/2100/2500. He also uses the Xit404 tripod with twist clamp legs. Lenses include 8-15mm fisheye, 16-35mm F4L wide angle, and the 100mm macro lens.
