Aqua Illumination Prime HD in White Back in August of 2014 Aqua Illumination introduced it’s first LED fixture with built in WiFi called the Prime. Fast forward almost two years and the AI Prime HD is born. AI is improving the fixture with the same HD power featured in it’s flagship Hydra FiftyTwo HD and smaller TwentySix HD models. The HD power enhancement gives the user to overdrive one or more of it’s 7 LED channels by borrowing power from a lesser used channel. Although the physical appearance of the HD models appear to be identical to it’s predecessor, having the same number of diode colors, LED configuration, but it is whats inside of the package that is innovative and groundbreaking. GHL with more than 20 years of experience in manufacturing high end aquarium products has just announced that they will begin shipping 3 new computers for aquariums and terrariums this fall. The three new models are called the Profilux Mini, The Profilux Light and The Profilux Terra. The new compact aquarium and terrarium controllers, offer important features found in high-end models from the ProfiLux 3 series but at extremely attractive prices. All models will include 16 independent dimming channels, lighting simulations that include phases of the moon, clouds, storms, rainy days, tropical twilight and much more. Each controller will also have the capability of connecting to the GHL Mitras LED lights and third-party products with 1-10V or PWM interfaces. FAUNA MARIN is releasing a new product called, AQUA SCAPE FIX and the product promises to make it much easier to aquascape your rock work with a reusable adhesive. “Reusable Coral- and decoration glue for fresh- and saltwater-aquaria!” Aqua Scape Fix promises no more sticky hands with no adhesive residue after working with it. To use the product you simple pour warm water that is less than 107 degrees Fahrenheit on it and then mix it until the composition becomes transparent. Aqua Scape Fix is made from a unique formula that allows you to easily knead portions of the mix by hand and mold it into the desired shape. Yesterday, we announced the launch of the new Tunze Stream 3 wavemaker pump that will begin shipping in September. As you can see from the flier below, this pump will cross/overlap several models of the current generation of Tunze stream pumps. Pricing for the US market has been set at $344.90. The Tunze Stream 3 utilizes magnets and suction cups for mounting the pump inside the aquarium and it can be positioned horizontally, vertically or at an angle.
