The Ocean Swipe 360 Aquarium Glass Cleaner

Do you hate cleaning the viewable panels of your aquarium glass?  Well, Ocean Swipe thinks they have the solution for you.  Ocean Swipe 360 is a young company out of Quebec, Canada and they promise to clean the aquarium glass for you and best of all it goes around corners. The OS360 is the first robotic glass cleaner will not only go around corners but it will avoid obstacles and remove algae from all 4 sides of the aquarium.  The unit runs on a lithium ion battery that can clean a 300 gallon aquarium in 12 minutes and re-charge itself in 35 minutes.  The maximum cleaning time is 60 minutes before recharging is necessary.   Power is supplied via a 24volt power supply and it connects to the bottom track and recharging occurs

Cerebra Custom Stand Build Part 2

Below you will find Part 2 of the Vertex Cerebra stand video.  Now that the project has been completed, we will be installing this in our showroom and positioning this next to the main frag tank.  As seen in the video, the controller is tilted at an angle on top of the stand while the multi-bar is housed and protected neatly inside.  Watch the time-lapse video below to see part 2 of the video.  The LED lighting turned out great and we are looking forward to setting this up. Thanks to Kyle at Marvel Signs for designing and building this amazing custom stand for us.  We would like to hear your thoughts on the one-off project. A Closer Look at the New VarioS-8 DC Pump

Back in September of 2016, we stopped by CoralVue’s booth at MACNA to talk with our good friend and part time comedian Ricardo Laso.  At their booth, CoralVue had a slew of new aquarium products on display from IceCap, Giesemann, RLSS, and Reef Octopus. What stood out the most to me was the “tower of power“.  At the bottom of the tower was a relatively small pump, probably a beta or prototype VarioS-8 DC controllable pump. As you can see from the video (see link above), the pump is very powerful but what you may not be able to tell is that the pump is also very quite, making it ideal for home aquarium instillations.  Reef Octopus has been in the testing lab for several months and CoralVue

GHL Announces Profilux 4 Product Details

During our recent visit to MACNA San Diego, we had the opportunity to stop in on and catch up with Matthias Gross, owner and founder of GHL.  Matthias showed us the new Profilux 4 Controller and spoke about why he believes that it is different and stands out from other aquarium controllers on the market. With such a variety available to the Techies out there, he knew that the bar was high and he would have to come out with something great to make a dent in this competitive market. We understand that he has received a substantial amount of interest and attention since debuting the Profilux 4 at MACNA. Eshopps piques our curiosity with new EID Line

What is Louie up to over at Eshopps?  Earlier today he hit us up with a little teaser for a new product design that we’ll be seeing in the future.  It is being referred to as the Eshopps Intelligent Design (EID)â„¢.  By all accounts this new and revolutionary design will be a real game changer. For now, we will just have to patiently wait and see what the good folks at Eshopps have in store for us.  The only other clue that I can pass on at this time is the awesome looking photo right above.  We are hoping that Louie will shed some more light on this in the coming days.  We expect a new product release to come sometime around the holiday season.
