Hammer Heaven Reef Tank – Absolutely STUNNING!

FB Link: https://www.facebook.com/coralfish12g Instagram Link: http://instagram.com/coralfish12g In this CoralFish12g video I feature Philip Nguyen's Hammer Heaven reef tank. Hammer corals are awesome but this is just awesome. Maintenance is done weekly with a 2-3 gallon water change with Red Sea Coral Pro Salt with RODI water. And the Sandbed is vacuumed 2 times a week. No dosing it any sort since the Pro salt has high concentration levels of trace elements. Tank equipment is as follow: 8 gallon display tank 10 gallon sump Maxspect razor r420r 60w 16k lighting Jebao wp10 wave maker Mame glass overflow Tunze osmolator nano 3152 Coral Box D300 protein skimmer Ehiem compact 2000 return pump 4 stage RODI water filtration Tobu - Candyland | http://youtu.be/ZFrkGSmYJ6w | provided by CopyrightFreeNetwork

Blotched/Borbonius Anthia Care Info

MY FB: https://www.facebook.com/coralfish12g The Borbonius Anthia is most commonly referred to as a blotched Anthia and it is one of the most prized of all reef fish. Because of its unique pink and yellow coloration, the Blotched Anthias has become very popular. Since it is a deep water Anthias, it requires a slightly lower temperate tank. They max out at about 6 inches in full adult form, so they should stay in tanks larger than 90 gallons. Lots of live rock should be in your tank for Blotched Anthias to thrive. The rock will provide lots of cover from lighting and areas to hide if spooked. Blotched Anthias should be fed multiple times per day with a variety of meaty foods such as mysis and brine shrimp. It can be somewhat aggressive so be sure that your tank is ready for it if you are willing drop the $300 dollar price tag that this brilliant fish usually comes with! Why are Zoanthids So Expensive? The Zoanthid Debate

My FB Page: https://www.facebook.com/coralfish12g In this coralfish12g video I am going to be talking about the great Zoanthid debate. There are always fads in the hobby and right now one of the biggest is the selling, trading, buying, and collecting of rare Zoanthids. Some people are sick of other hobbyists creating rare sounding names to match barely different color variations. They don’t understand this craze for Zoas with special names. Others love that aspect of Zoanthids becoming collectors who can sell them to create additional revenue from their reef aquariums. So what do YOU think about this debate?
