For this video, we went down to Hialeah, Florida to visit a blue thumb specialists, Itsander. He has been a stop for many of our local reef club’s annual tank tours and a popular destination for speakers to visit whenever they are in town for talks.

He recently upgraded his aquarium after months of planning.  I went to check out his tank, and to talk about his reefing philosophies, his routines and how the transfer went, what steps he took, and what he did with the new build that was noteworthy enough that we could use his experiences in our own lives.
