A 50,000 gallon “aquarium” in the sky

Infinity pools are so passe

The Sky Pool’s overall height is ten feet but it will only be filled to four feet, which totals approximately 50,000 gallons of water.  That’s a whole lot of water to suspend in the air!   Eight inch thick acrylic is all that prevents all that water (and any swimmers) from a catastrophic ten-story water-ride-from-hell.

While inspired by aquariums, the architects have no plans to make this pool into a fish tank.  Still, aquarists can daydream about the ultimate look-up aquarium.
