This time, it’s Nano tank overhaul with The Fish Store!

If you’ve been following the channel, you already know this year started with a full overhaul of my ELOS main display tank. New year, new energy, no more cutting corners. Watching that transformation come together lit a fire under me. But every time I walked past my nano tank, I knew something wasn’t right. It was running… but it wasn’t thriving. And if I’m being honest, it had slowly drifted into the land of “I’ll deal with it later.” Sound familiar? I didn’t want one tank flourishing while the other just existed. So I called in reinforcements. I reached out to my friend Chris Portale from The Fish Store in Port Saint Lucie, the same creative mind who brought my main display aquascape to life. As with everything that I do, if we were going to do this (anything in that matter), we were going to do it right. We sat down, mapped out a fresh vision, and built a plan to completely re-aquascape the nano. Not just a quick tweak. A full reset. Starting with the aquascape and sharing his tips and tricks that he picked up over 20 years of doing custom aquarium setups. Let me know what you guys think of the scape and the video in the comment section below!

  1. Awesome to hear about your nano tank overhaul! It’s so relatable when one tank thrives and the other just… exists. I love how you decided to stop cutting corners and brought Chris back in. Can’t wait to see the ‘doing it right’ transformation!
