The draw of photography for me has always been the learning experience that comes along with it, and reef photography is no different. This week while shooting some photos, I kept getting my lens closer and closer to the tanks, and discovered that the closer I can get, the more profound the textures and details get. Some of my favorite new photos are the ones of lobos where I had the lens nearly inside the mouth. Super macro is definitely my new favorite mode, and hopefully as I get some more practice with it, the photos will get even better.
