Would you eat a fish dog?

Yao says “Eat the head”

During October 2014, Kyoto Aquarium will once again offer the ayu dog at its cafe.  This culinary creation debut last summer with relative success (up to 200 sandwiches served per day).  For ¥500 ($4.60 USD), you get a whole grilled ayu (AKA sweetfish or Plecoglossus altivelis for all you fish nerds) nestled in a sliced bun accompanied by garlic-flavored fried lotus chips and herbal shiso/obha leaf.

Beer sold separately.
