not really. there doesn't seem to be any place to buy cheap in bulk

i don't know what u consider bulk but i got a years supply at MOSreef for 150+tax, i think it was something along the lines of 6-7 refills of both cation and anion resin, not mixed. Also, anything sold mainly from BRS will stay the same price roughly no matter where you buy it, due to their minimum advertised pricing policy.
