I've got a couple of those (the little pointy cone snails). I haven't caught them attacking anything, so I've let them be. I was thinking for a while that they're the ones that are predatory to clams, but I don't have clams.

I had a couple of those last week, now i have several hundred!! They seem to be harmless little algae grazers. No harm, no foul.
