For the past week I've seen this odd thing gliding around the glass. It looks from the outside of the glass like a turbo snail without a shell!

The 'foot' is white/grey, and about 1/2 round .. just like a snail. It even appears to have a 'head' - small round ball at one end with two antenna.

From the inside of the tank, there is no shell. It is almost flat, with an oval, hairy looking 'bump' over the foot. It's a brown/green color.

Any ideas? I saw it once on my live rock, but mostly it's on the glass.

FYI. My tank is a reef, 80g, with small refugium, UV, skimmer, etc, etc. All specs are great. Been set up for about 1 year.

Does it look anything like this Stomatella?

It's hard to tell ... It does if the bottom of the picture is the 'glass' or surface it's gliding on. It's more green/brown, but similarly hairy.

What is it??

If it looks like the Stomatellas in the above pictures then it is probably a Stomatella varia.
