crab? Updated with pic

I believe I've had this crab since I started my tank in October 2002. Tonight was the first time I've seen it. I knew I had one because I saw it's shadow once. It is brown with what looks like blue spots and I believe one pincher is bigger than the other, but not a ton bigger. It was in a hole in my LR so I cannot take a picture, my camera is not good enough. The crab is about the size of an emerald crab, the body is between the size of a nickel and dime. Do you have any idea what it might be?

The left side of the pic is the legs, they are brown and blue striped.
The right side of the pic is the upper body and claw.

Those pictures are just horrible. I usually identify most everything but I need something to see first.

is it a hairy crab? easy rule, hairy crab = BAD

no it is very smooth. Sorry about the quality of pics, those were the best I could do. He hangs out in a hole and its really hard to get a good shot. I probably took around 30 pictures. It is blue and brown though.
