sea fan or something?

so in a lil hole in my LR, I have this thing sticking out with like 6-8 appendages. Each appendage is a very thin, white, fan like structure. I never really payed much attention but today I noticed something bizzare. It moves each appendage individually, such that, it can extend straight or bend 180 degrees as to like pass food inside the hole to it's mouth or something! It only measures approx. 1" in diamater and I'm not worried as far as harming other animals, it appears to be a filter feeder. I tried to get a pic but it's too thin to show up with the backdrop of LR.

Sounds like a filter-feeding sea cucumber, though I couldn't tell you without a picture...

yup that's probably it. I found a pic of a sea cucumber's tentacles online and they are VERY similar except the ones in my tank are white instead of red.

hope it's not poisonous? either way I think it's very small
