what kind of purple algae is this, starting to see it show up, do I get rid of it?

Kind of looks like cyano to me. Start with good ro/di water and lots of circulation. It can be syphoned out and I would suggest doing that as part of your water change.

No, not according to me This one does look like Stomatella rather than a limpet.
