Experienced Reefer
I recently found out that my goniopora is having an additional small base attached to the parent coral and most likely my goniopora is reproducing asexually. some ppl said that this is not very as this means that you water condition is not as good yet causing the coral to reproduce, or does this have nothing to do with the water quality??? anyone has any idea??? :D

Not sure if it is related to stress as in some corals or not... however, its generally a good thing if the remainder of the colony looks good.

I have often seen the red goni's budding, but never the white.
