Smoke Blowing Slug??????

Has anyone ever seen anything like this? I have a slug in my tank that's about 3/8" long that blows puffs of a smoke-like secretion. I don't have a pic but it's kind of a light pale yellow color.

It is spawning. Your other critters are probably enjoying the meal.

As a new reefer, I can't help but think that it's secreting some toxin that will destroy my reef

It looks kind of like this, only it has tentacles and beady little eyes...

I am guessing Stomatella.

They come in many different colors and I have witnessed mine spawning as well.

I don't think that's a stomatella snail, but I don't know what it is.

It's definately a Stomatella.

Can't believe I missed that in the FAQ's...

Stomatella are marked by:

• a flattish shell covering a portion of their body
• forward antennae
