Hello everyone! You were so helpful last time I had a question, I thought maybe you could help me again!

A while ago I had a small (presumably zoanthid) hitch hiker that did so well I purchased a colony of small polyps. However, there are a few different kinds of polyps on it, and one seems to be bothering its neighbors. I know these guys can be tough to get on a species level, but I thought someone might be able to tell me if I need to move/remove it. I touched it and did not notice a sting...

He is brown and consumes lots of whatever drifts by him (mysids, brine shrimp, flakes, etc). He is not hogging the food, as I feed all of my polyps a variety of foods, but he does seem to eat larger foods than anyone else.

possibly a Majano sp. anemone... they are pests and listed in the HHFAQ (from the main r.o page) if you wanna look at those images and verify.

I agree that looks like a Majano. The only good thing about these guys is that you should just be able to pull/push him off (if you take the bit of rock out).

I reread the faq part about majano. He doesn't look like them, but might be a juvenile one. I also looked up other pics across the web. He is not green at all, and in the store tank lived near the bottom away from the light. At any rate, he is no good and I will remove him. Thank you for the help!
