I have tons of the regular bristle worms (pinkish-orange - like the one in the upper corner of the pic). However, I also have this one (only one?) bristle worm that is clearly a diffeerent species.

Remember that I had somebody nipping the fins of my mandarins... could this be the one?

And in general, should I worry about him (I'm pretty sure that the others are good citizens).

The pic is not as good as I'd want - you should see him live - he's a beauty :). The thing is that it was the sunset in my tank (that's why he came out), that's why the yellow/red cast.

Probably of the genus Eurythoe seeing the reddish gills. Harmless scavenger.

Thanks David - I thought that this would be the case, as it's quite big.
Honestly I suspect that my yellow tang nipped the mandarins until it accepted them although I never saw him doing it.
