I've got an outbreak of Lobophora algae or brown wafer algea......lps told me it only grows in good water conditions.....which I have.....and Naso is only fish to eat it. I have urchins, emerald crab, snails.....but I guess they're too many things better tasting in the tank to eat.

225 gal setup with 1250 watts.....I'll give specifics if needed...but really just want to know how to kill it. NO phosphates measured today.

Anyone have any addtional thoughts.....can't scrub it....it's on bottom rocks.

THANKS

Some of it will flake or peel off......most is "glued" to rock....so i'll have to remove rock and scrub. Got a bunch of rocks in the bottom region, major job with 400lbs of rock. Like to get something that contains it naturally. But i'm not thinking there is an "easy" answer. Gonna use some phosphate reducers, even though my salifert test says 0. Cut back on my once a day light feeding, try some Phosban......look for a Foxface, that's my current plan unless anyone has a better solution.

Thanks
