Would a spaghetti worm inhabit a snail shell?

I have this shell that has what looks like a spaghetti worm or something simalar in it. It has yellow tenticals and sifts through the sand. Im guessing that it is good, but I just want to confirm.

Thanks,
Laura

Sounds more like Cirratulid (Hair) Worm behaviour but it would not surprise me if it were a Terebellid (Spaghetti) Worm.

Do you see any shorter tentacles (gills) sticking out that are not sifting? If so then that would be better evidence that it's a Hair Worm.
