Strange Hermit Crab

I picked this guy up at a local LFS because he looked cool, he's been in my nano tank for two weeks now and doesnt appear to be hurting anything. I was just wondering what kind of crab it was. He is bright orange with one huge white/purple claw.

Which claw is larger, the right or the left? My guess at the moment would be Phimochirus sp.
