My reef aquarium has formed many small, flat, transparant gooey creatures that release a long thread of almost invisible white mucous that retract when you disturb them. Some are in the rock, many have taken a seat on my hydrometer and air hosing.
I am very nervous about these as they sort of showed up around the same time as I lost an elegance coral, purple ribbon gorgonian, and a toadstool leather. My other corals seem ok.
