I have several of these things growing on my live rock varying in size. They look porous and are soft to the touch. Any ideas?

It's a sponge. I believe this is the typs of sponge that can actually crawl around the tank. Pretty interesting.

This one is more yellowish, but it is exposed to the light.

Tank has been set up for two years. Has lots of live rock, cc base, pc lighting, prizm skimmer, fluval 204 filtration, 2 powerheads, anemone, 2 clowns, blue damsel, brittle star, blue legged hermits, countertop coral, green brain, orange sponge, green button polyps, yellow polyps.

It's fine. It may even be beneficial for its filtering ability and Silicate consumption. Just don't eat it.

I have something similar I wonder what it could be.

I have a few around my tank but mine has a rod sticking out. And they are very hard to the touch.
