Apparently these are quite easy to raise from the larval stage. You just need a spare chest cavity for them to erupt out of. :lol:

i'll say this about crabs, even the ones that dont look harmful can wreak havoc. ive had some decorator crabs that mainly eat algae pull off small hunks of coral to stick on their backs. they grow quickly and will eat pretty much anything that they can get in to their mouths. and, judging by that large claw, he looks like he could tear something up quickly. i have moved all crabs to the sump where they cant eat anything except algae and spare food that flows down to them. better safe than sorry when it comes to crabs i say!

I think that it will grow (A LOT), getting larger than your fist. It will clean-up and rearrage your fuge, eating everything in sight.

Its a right handed crab. PUT IT IN YOUR SUMP. They get large and tear crap up.
