Just picked this leather up 2days ago.. Not sure what the white film is. Any help? :?:

Leathers shed occationally. It looks like it could use more waterflow though.

Pic 2 looks like a bud from a frogspawn - mine has been dropping them lately.

Is/was this sunpolyp near a frogspawn or related coral

I think the green things are buggers, everyone has them now and then.

The leather is fine... I'm with the post above. I think you may want to try more flow in the area to "wash" the film away.

THe Green thing is either frogspawn or hammer polyps that have detatched, get them off of the colony FAST they will kill off the small section they are on directly underneath them.

Leathers are notorious slimers. They will doit just to do it (seamingly) LOL!
It looks healthy and should be fine. SOme times it can take up to two weeks for a leather to adjust .
