Please follow the link to a picture of this growth on a snail, it is also on the glass and pumps.

I don't know what it is, or what to do for it. Can anyone help me?

Tough to tell from that picture but it looks like it could be a species of colonial tunicate. If it is, it's a harmless filter feeder.
