What are the orange growths? They've been there awhile.

SnowManSnow

Advanced Reefer
ive actually never seen that before. I thought FS just grew new heads to reproduce from the existing colony. Do these things move? They aren't parasites are they??

Are they hard or soft?

Snowmansnow,
They don't appear to move, I noticed them a couple of weeks after I put it in my tank. I've had the frogspawn for over a month and seems to be doing ok. I will check it out today to see if the growths are hard or soft.

Strange. Those don't appear to be the same animal at all. My guess would be a sponge or tunicate. Any way you can get a closer focused shot of a couple of the orange things?

A better picture would help, but I think it's just new frogspawn buds.

I tried to get a pict this weekend, but could not get a good angle on them.

I lean toward the sponge theory.
